On 9th of January 2022, Somaliland Ministry of Interior with the support of UNDP-JPLG kicked off the transformational leadership training to Somaliland mayors in Djibouti. Somaliland Vice-President Abdirahman Saylici and Mayor of Djibouti have officially made the opening remarks of the training. The VP deeply discussed the importance of leadership training to the new Mayors as they are starting new terms in their districts.

At the end of the training, it is expected that mayors will apply what they have learned from the leadership training to their respective districts in achieving better organizational goals and priorities
